Love and those who deserve it - a poetics of life
I realize now more than ever before how much I cherish unity, love and companionship. I am moved to tears by simple gestures of affection, or grand ones that illuminate my heart, both by people I know and total strangers. Men and women, fighting injustive or displaying a noble and unconditional love for one another, they fill me with hope and joy. I want to do my part in healing our world. Complete freedom is my ambition, complete equality my dream. I will oppose anything and anyone who harms or discriminates. I want this world to SHINE. Any colour, any gender, any sexuality, any age, any belief. We are one. I cannot satisfactorily express my gratitude for the kindness and strength of these people of beauty, but I can offer them my joy, my tears and my words - the only love there is, is the love we make. However, let it be known that nothing can hurt me more than feeling or being aware of hatred, disdain and prejudice. I have no sympathy for any ideology, belief, dogma or person that encourages any kind of discrimination or insult. I can feel hurt by such simple things, and though I feel inclined to love and forgive, I know a lost cause when I see one - my forgiveness is not endless and I wish not to be naive. I promise to reflect in my writings these ideas; a message of harmony and hope and a warning to those who threaten it. I want everyone to feel free, I want to encourage everyone to be in love with everyone, including themselves. I admit I am flawed, but I will agree even more to being PERFECT - and so should you.
